This item is available for pick-up only... BOX LUNCHES include a sandwich made with your choice of meat, mayo, sliced cucumber, sliced tomato, salad greens, slice of onion and slice of cheese. Bread used for your sandwich is a chef's choice of Thayer's white, wheat, Pumpernickel bread or a croissant. Sharon Gammell is an outstanding chef who is Gluten Free. She is happy and able to accommodate guests dietary needs. The food, style, taste and presentations Gammell creates are amazing. Sharon Gammell cooks often without recipes and has an eye and imagination for delightful twists to tempt your palate. When she uses a recipe it is one she has developed. She can take the ordinary to new and extraordinary. Preferring traditional to trendy, her food takes on a comfortable and familiar persona, but don't be fooled, her food is not traditional. You can however, rest assured everything at Thayer's B&B meets her very high standards.
She is a self-taught gourmet chef of 40 plus years. She has had successful restaurants in Saint Paul & Minneapolis, MN and over the years has catered to groups as small as 2 and as large as 1,500. Sharon purchased Thayer's in 1993; it was a mess! Only after many, many, many hours of physical labor, planning, and dedication has Thayer's become the wonder that it is; a magical place to be experienced!
