Room Rental Details

Rental is included when renting the entire house

An
overnight stay is NOT required to rent the dining room.

Dining room
may
be rented for
Private and Group Events 365 days per year.

We
suggest making arrangements
for
private
and group events as much in advance as
possible. We recommend
a lead time of at least two to three weeks.

Chef
Sharon Gammell accommodates
restricted diets; Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Soy Free, Heart
Healthy, Diabetic, Vegan and Vegetarian to name a few.

Sharon offers organic, range foods as often
as possible.

Private
Event Dinner Menu

Thayer's can
easily seat 45 guests comfortably.

Entertainment
may be added to private and group events

Cost to just rent the dining room is $200 plus tax, per hour.
Billed in one hour increments.

Dining room rental includes
the space, 50 chairs, and one linen table cloth for each
table (we have 10 tables).

Additional tables, table linens, table skirting,
napkins,
china, flatware, glassware and serving pieces are
available for an additional charge.

Dinners,
may include as many or as few courses as you like; Dinners usually take about 2 hours.
An automatic service
gratuity & 6.875% sale tax applies.
Private Event Dinner Menu

have a liquor license.

When staying over
night, MN. liquor laws permit guests
to bring in wine for
personal use to be enjoyed in your guest room(s) only.

Private & Group Events
may be scheduled ahead only two years.

Thayer's

Sharon
Gammell
Sharon Gammell is
not only a talented psychic and hostess, she is an outstanding chef who is happy to accommodate her guests with a
flexible menu, wonderful staff and extraordinary surroundings.
Sharon Gammell is a self-taught
gourmet chef of 35 plus years. She has had
successful restaurants in Saint Paul and
Minneapolis, Minnesota and over the years has
catered to groups as small as 2 and as large as
1,500.
In 1993, when the Gammell's
purchased Thayer's building, the dining area was leased to and managed
by another party. Finally, in late December 1994, circumstances
changed and Sharon & Warren were able to incorporate the dining area into
their bed & breakfast and offer guests an
outstanding dining experience.
The food, style, taste and
presentations at Thayer's are amazing. Sharon Gammell cooks without
recipes and has an eye and imagination for
delightful twists to tempt your palate. She can
take the ordinary to new and extraordinary.
Preferring traditional to trendy, her food takes
on a comfortable and familiar persona, but don't
be fooled, her food is not traditional.
As the owner of Thayer's,
Sharon Gammell wears many hats. She is first and foremost a
gifted psychic, then an
innkeeper, chef, wedding officiate, bookkeeper, decorator, maid, supervisor, and perfectionist
so, whether she happens to be doing a psychic reading, teaching
a class in the paranormal, making you hot chocolate or a
coffee, cooking your dinner, , making your
bed, or serving your breakfast, rest assured
everything here at Thayer's B&B will meet her high standards.
