October 2007, Greetings and Salutations Sharon, I just wanted to THANK YOU for a wonderful weekend....Such attention to detail! I was quite enchanted by my whole experience. Great Accommodations, Fantastic Food, Fun Class, And really enjoyed my reading...I will be booking one in a few weeks. (After I do some work on myself) See if I have helped myself any?!
I think ( you'll have to ask ) that one of your ghost came home with me. I had some VERY crazy computer "things" happen Monday. ( I actually said "Jim knock it off" ). And when I was making Dinner last night the light in the kitchen went dim till they went out. ( Never had this happen before. We don't have a dimmer on our light. ) I flipped all the switches a couple of time. Nothing. I thought I will let the bulbs cool off and change them later. Went to Bed and my husband came home and turn the switch to the kitchen on and Wa La...Lights in the Kitchen. I knew then that someone had followed me home. I asked him this morning to please go back to the Thayer House and I think he did. At least I am not feeling anything right now.

Sharon, I just want to thank you and your staff for this past weekend! Think that the Mystery Dinner was one of the best times we have had together in a long time! I believe the dinner and breakfast where the best I have ever had, and can't wait to come back for more! We are already planning on our next trip up there! My girlfriend will be trying to call you tomorrow for details on a small simple wedding. She has more of an idea of what she wants then I do! Thank you all again, David and Amy

Sharon, I just want to thank you ALL for making the past weekend an out of this world experience! I felt so at home at your house, Sharon and had such a nice time sharing Jessie stories with Maggie and Jeanne...well, we will just have to make going to Thayer's B & B a tradition! Next time we will have to have dinner at the B & B! - Tracy I couldn’t have said it any better Tracy, Thanks! And Sharon, thank you from the bottom of my heart. To know Jessica is here with us and that she sees the candle lighting and the flowers, etc., means so much to us. We stopped on the way back and took a nice BIG bunch of fresh fall flowers to the cemetery. She is so loved and so missed by us all and you brought her back to talk to us and share with us and that just means so much more than I could ever put into words. And the house was FANTASTIC! Sharon, I just wanted to tell what a
wonderful time I had at Thayers. The class was
fantastic, very interesting, and very calming.
I also wanted to tell you that I
still have this feeling of calm, tenderness, and happiness
from our room. I got the distinct feeling that our
room was being protected from this wonderful woman (Adeline
is who I thought, I hope that I got that right!). The
petting on my hair to get me to sleep was beautiful.
The last time I was there I had a hard time sleeping and I saw
a white figure come in the door and raise a hand toward me
and I fell fast asleep. It seems that your ghosts
want me to relax! Anyway, for dealing with a
subject that could be a bit unnerving, you, your staff, your
cats, and yes, your ghosts made me feel so welcome.
The demonstration with Miss Lilly was very comforting also.
I don't really totally understand why, but every aspect of
dealing with the ghosts made me feel comfortable. Not
usually a word I would think many people would use for ghost
encounters. I also got the wonderful feeling of home
as soon as I walked in the door. When Steve and I
visited there a few years ago, I got that same feeling.
Well, I suppose I could go on
and on, but I just wanted to let you know that the class and
the stay meant more to me than I can express. I truly
believe that your cats were suppose to be the ones who
really would help me in my fear of cats. Apparently,
most of my fear is now gone and I feel like I was suppose to
come there so they could help me through that last bit of
irrational fear. Please thank them for me!...

Sharon, I loved my room! You can not have too many pillows, and how beautiful they are. ( I'm a sewing kind of gal and know how much work they can be) What beautiful garden statues! No ghosts in my room slept really well. Thanks so much for your hospitality! - Kathy and Nigel
